Gilles BLANC (Founder, Chief Executive Officer)
Gilles is the founder of Aqsacom and Chief Executive Officer of the Aqsacom Group of companies. Prior to starting his own organisation, Gilles gained telecom considerable experience during his 10 years France Telecom as Head of the entity responsible for launching their new GSM Network, among other functions. Highly specialised in GSM norms, he is considered as one of the leading experts within this field. He also brings expertise in the area of "service quality" for which he held resposibility within the France Telecom Itineris GSM network, part of France Telecom. Along with with a strong background in telecommunications, Gilles Blanc also has a degree in Economics.

 

Eric GERBER (Software Development Manager)
Eric joined Aqsacom in 1997. Eric has full responsibility for all software created internally and used in the various Aqsacom product lines. He is highly skilled in "Real Time" constraints and heavy load data processing used within telecom applications. Furthermore, he also demonstrates a wealth of experience regarding many network technologies, from the low level layers like X25 and IP to the high level protocols like Q3 and SNMP. Among his many achievements, he designed and finalized the Aqsacom lawful interception core system. This work has increased considerably product reliability and performance on a worldwide basis. A well-known figure among Aqsacom's clients, he also travels to the multitude of customer sites to supervise and validate the Aqsacom products. Prior to Aqsacom, he held the position of Project Manager at Alcatel CGA Transport company for a period of 10 years.

 

Jean-François ZELL (Solution Design Manager)
Jean-François is recognized world-wide as a leading expert in "Security Systems" within the telecommunications field. He has been with Aqsacom since 1997. His main role with Aqsacom is to supervise the Department of Study and Research for the entire product range providing solutions dedicated to the area of security. In addition, Zell's department designs and studies all projects developed by Aqsacom. Jean-François furthermore has the responsibility of representing the company, as consultant, at all international meetings for standards normalization throughout the world. He graduated with a Masters and a DEA (PhD equivalent) in "Automatisme and Applied Informatic" with a mention Very High Level.

 

Alan DUBBERLEY (VP Business Development)
Alan has both an engineering and business background and has been engaged in the telecommunication business for over 40 years- planning, designing and building networks. Over the past decade, lawful interception has been a prime interest of his. This included developing solutions for major carriers, Standards Development and liaison with Regulatory areas including activity participation on both policy and technical aspects in markets across the globe.

 

Hélène CLOET (Administration & Finance Manager)
Hélène joined Aqsacom when the company was created in 1994. Apart from day-to-day responsibility for all financial and budgetary aspects within the entire organization, she also heads both the Administration and Human Resources Departments. Hélène brought to the company a widespread and solid experience gained with international companies in Southern Africa, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Apart from her background in finance, she is well-versed in all aspects of communications after having worked as Account Executive Manager in a major international advertising agency.

 

Benjamin EPSTEIN (Chief Strategy Officer)
Ben has been working with Aqsacom on its corporate strategy, finance, and various marketing initiatives. He holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and the PhD in the Univ. of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is a former Postdoctoral Fellow of France's CNRS, served as a researcher at Sarnoff Corp. (Princeton, NJ), and held executive positions at France Telecom's NY operations. Much of his prior and ongoing work has been focused on network simulation and security.

 

Eric DAMAY (Support & Integration Manager - EMEA)
Eric Damay is the Team Leader of Integration, Validation & Support  group for EMEA. His team is aiming the 100% Customer satisfaction through efficient delivery processes and 24/7 support for AQSACOM products deployed in more than twenty top ranking Communication Service Providers in the region. Eric's team is also in charge of the end-to-end integration program with partners worldwide. Having started his career as a Telecom Engineering Consultant for Brime Technologies, he joined Aqsacom in 2003. Eric holds an Engineer's degree in Signal Processing from the INP of Grenoble, France.
